Why is it that sometimes I can get extra spaces between the lines in my signature and other times I can't?

Well, there are a few ways - if you are using the BB code, you just need to hit enter between them, preview it to make sure it worked.

However, if you are using a script of some sort, then you might actually have to plug a code in there to get the spaces....if you put the letters "BR" (no quotes, just the letters) between a less than and a greater than sign (not sure if you will see it if I put it here, but I will try: <br> , then that will give you a line break (br=break)


If that doesn't work - I would have to see your siggy to tell you the best way - not sure if I can access that though, so I might need you to pm me it, or email or something.....

In all honesty - in looking at the page script - I think the problem might be in your code...it does look like script and it looks like you have a lot of extra tags....

If this looks like how you want your sig - just reply to my post, and copy the code between the *****'s (everything between, but NOT including!)

So, try that......and to adjust the space in that, you just need to put an enter between any given line - HOWEVER, be careful that you only do that at the front of a line - I wrote the code so that it should be easy to adjust without a lot of fuss. The problem is almost certainly where you are attempting to do it at - the script won't recognize it in certain areas of the code - so long as you only eliminate "blank" lines in the above, and only add them at the front of any line - you should be able to keep your code.


And if you want to change up the colors, fonts, etc - you want to be careful that you keep all your tags embedded in the same order....



It should look like this (in theory, not code)


(color)(font)(size)(i)words that you want formatted and maybe a special (bold)bolded(end bold) word here and there(end i)(end size)(end font)(end color)



What you do NOT want to do, because it makes it glitchy is this:


(color)(font)(size)(i)words that you want formatted and maybe a special (bold)bolded(end bold) word here and there (end size)(end font)(end color)(end i)



Notice the difference in where the "end i" is in the second one - you always want to close a tag inside the same tag you opened it in....when using the editor, it is easy to overlap these, so watch for it
